Accommodation

The resort’s 360 rooms (five categories) are located in single-story buildings set in the tropical gardens or overlooking Smugglers Cove itself. All rooms are newly refurbished and offer terrace, air-conditioning, private bath and shower, in-room safe, king or twin beds (according to request), satellite colour TV, hairdryers, tea & coffee-making facilities, iron & board. Room service is available for lunch and dinner only. Internet access is available in the lobby.

Dining & Bars

Guests of Almond Smugglers Cove have a choice of four gourmet restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as roomservice for lunch and dinner. They can sample local delicacies at Café Enid’s – an adults-only French/Caribbean restaurant, enjoy the catch of the day at the Waterside Grill, take their taste buds around the world at The Cove – a continental restaurant or enjoy the delights of La Trattoria – the resort’s Italian restaurant with wood oven pizzas and hand-made pastas. The Great House is a gourmet restaurant located in a grand plantation house and is regarded as one of St. Lucia’s finest dining establishments. It is located adjacent to the main Almond Smugglers Cove Resort, but meals at this restaurant are not included in the Almond premium all-inclusive program. There is a choice of five bars, including a swim-up pool bar, all serving name brand drinks, cocktails and soft drinks as part of the premium all-inclusive program.

 

 

 

Sports & Activities

Enjoy snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, banana boat rides, water skiing and free green fees at the nearby St. Lucia Golf & Country Club. (Limited to three free, 18-hole rounds per seven-night stay - compulsory cart fee charges apply.)

The hotel has its own Racquet Club, which is equipped with seven tennis courts, a squash court, a fitness centre and destination spa offering various services (at extra cost), including massages, facials, detoxifying juices, manicures and pedicures. There is a glorious stretch of beach with sun loungers. Live entertainment is offered nightly.

There are six freshwater swimming pools, of which one is reserved exclusively for adults over 16 years of age and another is reserved for kids and features a slide.

 

 

 

Kids Club

As part of the all-inclusive package, the children’s program at Almond Smugglers Cove has been designed to provide educational fun to children from newborn to teens, keeping them happily entertained with playgrounds, kiddie pools and fully equipped activity centres. Our fully qualified staff allows parents to relax and enjoy themselves in the knowledge their little ones are supervised and well looked-after. Children’s programs include a Nursery for infants 0 – 23 months, a Mini-Club for children two to four years of age, Kids Clubs for children 4 – 12 and a fully equipped Teen Centre for teens 13 and over. Baby sitting is also available (additional charge locally).
