We stayed at Royal in Cancun for seven nights in September, the pictures just dont do this hotel justice! From the moment you arrive at the lobby with the stained glass ceiling to the minute you leave it is like heaven. We got the glasses of champagne and cool towel reception like the Excellence did for us last year which sets you in the mood from the beginning. Our suite had the most amazing view, I cannot begin to describe the colour of the ocean. What a way to wake up every morning to be greeted by this spectacular view, although the resort is exceptional it wasn't quite as good as the Excellence last year. We couldn't put our finger on it but it certainly wins for location & without question the Ocean. We would go back but I think we might try somewhere different next year. Hopefully you can recommend somewhere, please feel free to email me back some suggestions.

This resort is absolutely beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the choice of food was superb. This was our first visit to Mexico & had it not been for our friends wedding at the moon palace we would not have even considered trying it. Jacqui we really appreciate your honest advice about the Moon Palace, if it hadn't been for you we would have booked there & that would have been a big mistake for us. We spent half a day there for their wedding & although they had a fabulous ceremony that hotel would not have been a mistake for us. The Moon Palace is great for a big wedding but not for a couple wanting to relax on the beach so the Royal was great. Jacqui I will call you in the new year as we are thinking of antigua in February & your advice would we welcomed.

Leighton, just wanted to thank you for sorting our honeymoon at the Royal Cancun. Exactly as you suggested perfect for us beach lovers, we made good use of the room service & the only disappointment was coming home. Thanks.
